SEATTLE — The Nashville Predators staged a comeback victory, defeating the Seattle Kraken 4–2 behind a standout performance from goaltender Juuse Saros and a milestone goal from rookie defenseman Ryan Ufko.
After falling behind early, Nashville responded with four unanswered goals to secure an important win as the team continues its push in the Western Conference playoff race. Saros turned aside 43 shots in the game, his highest save total of the season, helping the Predators weather long stretches of offensive pressure from Seattle. Nashville finished the night with four goals on limited opportunities, showing efficiency in the offensive zone while relying on strong defensive structure and goaltending to close out the win.
“Obviously, the first period wasn’t very good,” Nashville coach Andrew Brunette said. “We weren’t up to pace, we were a little sleepy, but we dug in in the second, and I thought we had the better of them the rest of the game. ‘Juice’ was big in key moments, our kids made some big plays, and we live to fight another day here.”
Ufko provided one of the game’s defining moments, scoring the first goal of his NHL career. The rookie defenseman jumped into the play and found the back of the net, sparking momentum for the Predators and energizing the bench. The milestone goal marked an important step for the young blueliner as he continues to establish himself at the NHL level.
While Nashville’s offense found its rhythm as the game progressed, Saros remained the backbone of the victory. The Predators goaltender made several key saves during Seattle surges, particularly in the opening stages of the game when the Kraken generated consistent pressure in the offensive zone. His performance kept Nashville within striking distance and ultimately gave the team the opportunity to rally.
The Predators’ offense came from multiple sources throughout the lineup. Tyson Jost, Reid Schaefer and Steven Stamkos each scored as Nashville pulled away in the latter stages of the game. The balanced scoring effort highlighted the depth in the Predators’ lineup and their ability to generate offense from different lines.
For Nashville, the victory showcased a combination of strong goaltending, timely scoring and emerging young talent. With Saros delivering one of his best performances of the season and Ufko recording his first NHL goal, the Predators gained both a confidence boost and two valuable points as the regular season continues.
